Yeah, if you're building a urethane board, they're definitely still a good set of wheels! I like them. The durometer is good. It's a decent contact patch.... The only other question is drive ratio, and you can make that what you want in your pulley choices

The only negative is the cool looking white wall lettering is all worn off but I'm glad because I'm going to make a stencil and repaint the lettering with either Hoosier or Goodyear to make them look like race car tires!

Yea that's me. The thing about PEVs is that it brings a very diverse crowd of enthusiasts so it's interesting to find out what we have in common. I'll be doing the SSNR more when the weather gets better so we can meet up for sure. Meanwhile, I still ride these streets daily no matter the climate@@YeahThatPerson

Thank you! 💜🦄 I have really been feeling the purple and bright pink color mix this year. Thinking this one out, I really thought the purple and chocolate would pair well. Then I just kinda leaned in hard on adding as much purple as possible 🤣 In making the vid, I wanted it to feel the same vibe ☺️ Yeah, those are vans customs! My wife made them for me. Vans Authentic bright pink sidewall, laces, eyelets, and pink checker sparkle ✨💖 tongue and purple 💜 toe, quarters, and binding. I should have thrown a shot of my purple and bright pink backpack in too 🤣

on this board, i am running a DIY chain setup. It is 24h chain type so it's light and strong. I got wheel sprockets on amazon or ebay and hand drilled them, added aluminum standoffs to space them off of the wheel. Then motor sprockets, again from amazon i think. i love this setup, its just work to get going. use red loctite on the motor grubs and green loctite on the shafts. all of that said, i als am running a chain drive board based on Apex chain system. its thicker and turnkey! you just install

This board does use a Stormcore, it's a DIY. It's a Hoyt Dadbod deck, Hoyt ROSA trucks, Hoyt Puck, and Duck Batteries 16s9p (same battery). Hoyt is using Maker-X

Oh my god! That's so awful to hear! I'm so sorry! I'm not sure how they would actually interface with wrist guards, they do have a thick band around the wrist area. The regular short ones may be better for a wrist guard. Or you may need to pull out the wrist guard that is in the glove

I would say mostly start with good safety gear, helmet gloves, me and elbow pads maybe a little more. Secondly, it's just a bunch of practice. Keep practicing and slowly make progress, don't push it too hard. Good stance, and it gets harder the faster you go because the wind pushes you towards the back of the board. But generally you want to have somewhere around 60 to 75% of your weight on the front truck with the remaining 25 to 40 on the rear and that helps keep the board stable This board specifically has stooge race boards three-link trucks which helps make it stable
